ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER
#16-897 Yellow, #16-899 Green
A self-etching primer that is chromate-free and chemically bonds with aluminum and steel to form a corrosion resistant base coat. Can be topcoated with two component epoxies or left as is. Excellent resistance to seacoast exposure. Meets performance standards outlined in Federal Specification TT-P-1757A. Exceeds 800 hours of 5% salt spray fog test (ASTM #B117). Do not apply excessively as it will greatly increase the drying time.
