Answer

About 15 square feet. Yes, you could apply it to galvanized, but the better primer would be 16-1445 cold galv primer.

16-845 is a zinc rich weld-thru primer. You can topcoat it with any of our paints. Iâd recommend the MRO industrial enamels.

Hi, I sent a message last week and would like a response back asap. What do you recommend for primer, coat, and top coat for an aluminum handrail made of 5085. In a semi gloss or matt finish? Thank you!

Answer

Yes, the self-etch primer with the 16-139 semi-gloss black topcoat would be a good choice.
