A fast drying solvent-based marking paint designed to be sprayed in an inverted position. Produces vivid marks, does not clog, and is safe for grass. The solvent based formulation works well in low temperatures. Meets APWA color standards and is VOC compliant. May be sprayed by hand or with the Z-605 marking gun or Z-606 marking wand.

I’ve used your inverted tip making paints for year. My question to you is that my operations team does not want “permanent” paint. we’re a water/sewer utility that needs to markout our lines on roads concrete, grass (the normal stuff where contractors call for a markout. My issue is deciphering your different lines/ series. we primarily use blue/green/purple. I’m guessing they don’t want it to be thee years later. I always understood it to be “marking” paint was for permanent lines, and “mark-out” temporary. you’ve got so many lines/series “3â€, “6†20-653, and 9 which I’ve been using, “that sound the same or close to each other. What series should I focus on to not be permanent?

All 3 are permanent. If you are looking for a green to cover astroturf, I would recommend the green color 20-695 in our Stripe golf course marking paint, which is permanent also. If you have additional questions, please contract our technical support at 815-895-9101.

What temperature can I use this paint in? If spraying on steel, how long can I expect it to last outdoors? Weeks, months, or longer? How does it compare to Rustoleum Inverted Marking Paint or Krylon INDUSTRIAL Striping Paint (LineUp Series)?

You can apply this paint from 40-100F. It is permanent and will last a couple years at least on hard surfaces.

The 3 and 6 series are the same (both water based/permanent) except for fill weight. The 9 series is solvent based.
