Seymour Good Grip Yellow Anti-Slip Spray Product Details
When we started working with aerosol paint, we knew we could make high-performing products easier to use, and we have. What we don’t talk about often enough is our commitment to safety.
Seymour Good Grip Yellow Anti-Slip Spray brings our mission to design high-quality, convenient, affordable products together with serious safety. Our indoor/outdoor traction enhancer spray meets OSHA’s recommended static coefficient of friction (0.5) to help keep high-use walking surfaces safer.
It sprays on easily and is traffic-ready in 24 hours. With our Yellow finish, you get reliable traction with a bright, high-visibility safety cue on step edges, ramps, loading docks, ladder rungs, and more. Each 12-oz can covers up to 10 square feet, and the durable, micro-bead texture is resilient and resistant to oil and gasoline. Your time and money won’t be wasted on mediocre fixes when you choose Seymour.
Bottom line: Good Grip slip-resistant spray coating makes steps, ramps, decks, walkways, and more safer. Get the performance you expect, the quality you deserve, and the convenience you didn’t think was possible, all from a can of aerosol spray.
Improve Traction on Hazardous Surfaces
From shop floors and boat decks to steps and walkways, and even handrails and pull-up bars, Good Grip Anti-Slip Spray provides a dependable, non-skid finish. Help prevent slips where moisture, oils, weather, or everyday wear create hazards, or simply add better grip to slick surfaces.
Embedded plastic beads create reliable traction while the coating maintains the surface’s original character. Choose our Yellow finish when you want a high-visibility safety cue or to mark hazards and high-traffic zones. If you prefer to preserve the original look, opt for Clear; choose Black to coordinate with dark substrates.
Slip-Resistant Spray Coating for Concrete, Metal, Wood, Plastic & More
One can of our anti-slip coating spray covers up to 10 square feet. Good Grip sprays on evenly to add a fine, textured grip to concrete, metal, wood, plastic, and more. It’s the ideal choice in many settings, including as a non‑slip deck spray, ladder‑rung grip spray, or outdoor walkway grip coating.
Make the choice that’s tough enough for busy foot traffic and changing weather, but easy on you, your time, and your wallet.

At Seymour, we engineer coatings that keep doing their job long after lesser fixes peel or wear out. Did you expect anything less?
Convenient, Quick-Drying Safety Spray Paint
You cannot compromise when it comes to safety, but if getting superior safety doesn’t slow you down, you’ve got the best of both worlds. Our 12‑oz aerosol is engineered for a consistent spray and even coverage. You can hit high‑traffic zones, tight steps, or ladder rungs in minutes. Fast dry times (10 minutes to touch, overnight to traffic-ready) help you move from “watch your step” to “all good” with minimal downtime.

16-81 Seymour Good-Grip should work in the shower. Care should be taken when applying. Be sure the floor is absolutely dry. In addition, shower floors are made of a wide variety of materials so test the product in a discrete area to make sure that the coating adheres well. Always use caution when there is a risk of falling.

Question
Ethan –
Can this be used on fiberglass boats. Also is it UV durable.
Upvote if this was helpful (0) Downvote if this was not helpful (0) Flag for removal
Answer
Seymour Paint –
The Good Grip can be applied to fiberglass but the fiberglass needs to be prepped properly. The fiber needs to be sanded to create the Good Grip to physically adhere to it. Fiberglass components are typically created using a mold and mold release agents are used to get the fiberglass out of the molds. It is that mold release that can cause problems for paint to stick to fiberglass unless the mold release is removed chemically or physically (by sanding). The Good Grip should have good UV resistance.
