Seymour Green Rebar Epoxy Spray Paint Product Details
If you work with epoxy-coated reinforcing steel, you need a reliable way to protect cut ends and fix coating damage on the job. Seymour Green Rebar Epoxy Spray Paint is a high-performance, single-stage epoxy coating engineered specifically for on-site repair of epoxy-coated rebar.
Our easy-to-use aerosol protects cut rebar and spot-repairs damaged epoxy before the rebar is placed into concrete. Spray it on cut ends, nicks, splices, and other exposed steel to build a tough, durable film that helps prevent corrosion and reduces rust staining in the surrounding concrete. By acting as a barrier between the steel surface and moisture, oxygen, and chlorides, Green Rebar Epoxy Coating Spray helps extend the service life of reinforced concrete.
Seymour’s long history of producing dependable industrial aerosols is undisputed. Our high-performance, corrosion-resistant rebar epoxy spray paint helps professional crews work fast while meeting ASTM performance requirements when repairing defects in organic coatings on steel reinforcing bars. Get results you can trust with Seymour.
Single-Stage Epoxy Rebar Coating Spray
Our single-stage epoxy aerosol delivers premium performance with no mixing. The modified epoxy resin adheres to properly prepared ferrous metal, quickly protecting cut ends, splices, and repair areas on reinforcing steel. Get corrosion protection and rust staining prevention with minimal disruption to your workflow.
High-Performance: Protects Against Corrosion & Rust Staining
On busy jobsites, rebar is handled, moved, and reworked many times. Our Green Rebar Epoxy Spray Paint is formulated to maintain strong adhesion and provide excellent abrasion resistance on prepared steel. Applied at the recommended film thickness, it delivers exceptional corrosion protection, helping you minimize rust staining and maximize the long-term performance of reinforced concrete in demanding environments.
Ideal Spot Repair Spray for Damaged Rebar
Coatings can be chipped in transit, during bending, or as bars are tied and placed. Our Green Rebar Epoxy Coating Spray lets you target those issues quickly and easily. Use it to cover nicks, abrasions, cutbacks, and other dings and defects while meeting performance requirements.
Meets Performance Requirements for Corrosion Resistance & Flexibility
You can use Seymour Green Rebar Epoxy Spray Paint with confidence on projects that call for ASTM-compliant repair materials. It is designed for repairing defects in organic coatings on reinforcing steel and for use during fabrication and jobsite handling of epoxy-coated bars. It meets the corrosion resistance and flexibility performance requirements for repair materials specified in ASTM A775/A775M-07 and ASTM D3963/D3963M-01.

Easy-To-Use Epoxy Coating for Cut Rebar
Steel surfaces should be clean, bare metal, free of oil, grease, loose rust, and mill scale. On slightly rusted (non-flaky) rebar, first apply Seymour Rust Converter, let it dry, then apply the epoxy spray.
Shake the can thoroughly before use, then apply multiple light coats to exposed areas of rebar. Coating couplers along with the bar is acceptable. Allow approximately 48 hours for hard cure at ambient conditions before embedding the rebar in concrete.
Fast, easy application and quick dry times help crews restore corrosion protection without adding unnecessary time or steps.
