I painted my Nissan truck hood today unfortunately I ran out of paint. I won’t get my next can of paint until November 11. Can I spray over the existing coat or do I need to scuff it or what kind of prep do I need to do? I used the flexible, trim paint gloss black.

Maybe just a quick wet sand with 400 grit, but you can paint over it anytime.
