Question
Amy –
If I accidentally paint something I didnât mean to, whatâs the best solution to remove (from a hard surface, not grass or plant). Thanks.
(0) (0)
Answer
Seymour Paint –
If it is dry, then you could use a citrus based paint stripper. Just leave it on long enough to soften the paint for removal. I donât think goof off will do it, youâll need something stronger. Solvents such as paint thinner, or nail polish remover will not work.

Are there any shrubs that could be damaged by the spray or nearby healthy grass or vines. If you accidently get some on brick, decorative rocks, or wood, can it be removed?
(0) (0)
Answer
Seymour Paint –
It will not harm any kind of plants, grass, or shrubbery. This is a permanent paint, so if any gets on pavement or brickwork you will need a paint remover to take it off. We make a graffiti remover that would do the trick.

Question
Robert Borg –
The product is water based, however the only way I can get it off my fingers/hands is with paint thinner. Soap and water does not work at all. What’s up with that? Otherwise, it has worked well here in Phoenix after 25 day straight of 115-118 degrees, which fry’s plants.
(0) (0)
Answer
Seymour Paint –
About 25% is water, but it is not water soluble as the remainder is oil based. Goof off or a citrus based paint remover will do the trick.
