CUSTOMER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  1. Question

    Jacques

Under what conditions would you suggest using a primer under the paint? I am painting the engine bay of my car which has areas of bare metal, areas of light body filler and areas of OEM automotive paint. I intend on using one of the gloss gray colors (probably the std gray).

We would suggest to use primer in every situation except when the substrate is clean bare metal.
