CUSTOMER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  1. Question

    tim stoessler

I’ve used your inverted tip making paints for year. My question to you is that my operations team does not want “permanent” paint. we’re a water/sewer utility that needs to markout our lines on roads concrete, grass (the normal stuff where contractors call for a markout. My issue is deciphering your different lines/ series. we primarily use blue/green/purple. I’m guessing they don’t want it to be thee years later. I always understood it to be “marking” paint was for permanent lines, and “mark-out” temporary. you’ve got so many lines/series “3”, “6” 20-653, and 9 which I’ve been using, “that sound the same or close to each other. What series should I focus on to not be permanent?

We only make one truly temporary marking paint and in just one color (white). #20-633. If you’re looking for large numbers you should explore private labeling the paint—minimum order quantity 600 cans per color, guaranteed for 2 years. If you are interested, please contact sales@seymourpaint.com.

  2. Question

    Melissa

What is the difference between your 3 6 and 9 series marker spray paints? We need something to cover a white and purple stripe on astroturf.

All 3 are permanent. If you are looking for a green to cover astroturf, I would recommend the green color 20-695 in our Stripe golf course marking paint, which is permanent also. If you have additional questions, please contract our technical support at 815-895-9101.

Generally, about 2 inches, but it depends on how close you hold the can to the ground.
