Make sure to have a clean, bare surface or a primed surface and then apply 2 coats within 15 minutes of each other and then leave it to cure for a couple days. Excessive coats or high humidity will extend the cure time.

If you’re intending to spray the frames black, I would recommend the PBE acrylic trim paints as they dry much faster and have a deeper black color. PBE technical Data Sheet link below.

Yes, but only on hard plastics and only if they are primed. The PBE sandable primers will work on hard plastics. Please scuff up the plastic if it is smooth and/or shiny.
